Good morning Matt,

Can you clarify the quote process for me please.

Did we actually ask three companies to come and quote for this remedial work or did we just ask the one company we have dealt with before?

Is this task being undertaken by you or have our management been instructed to follow through, because it seems a lot of additional work for you.

Do we have a written quote or quotes that we can check before making our final decision on who gets the job ?

BTW I am in favour of the upgrade, particularly in the elevators but was interested to see if different companies had same or different solutions.

Kind regards

Paul

The cheapest option appears to be using the existing systems which have enough capacity for the additional cameras that we spoke of. The biggest cost is getting cable to the eastern side. Which covers both the rear lane camera and Mcenvoy st. The price is just under $5900. This does not include lift cameras.

Both security people I spoke to said that wireless cameras in lifts were unreliable and I could only find one company that did wireless and they did not have any/poor reviews.

We can review the lift cameras when we get the quote from LiftTronic. But I thought we may not want to hold up the rest of the work for that. Lift guys are slow.
