Hi all,

Initial quotes are in for the cameras as per our discussion from the other week. The cheapest option appears to be using the existing systems which have enough capacity for the additional cameras that we spoke of. The biggest cost is getting cable to the eastern side. Which covers both the rear lane camera and Mcenvoy st. The price is just under $5900. This does not include lift cameras.

The price for the lift cameras is $2615 + the cost of cable inside the lift shaft which we are waiting for a quote for from LiftTronic. Both security people I spoke to said that wireless cameras in lifts were unreliable and I could only find one company that did wireless and they did not have any/poor reviews.

Once LiftTronic gets back to us regarding the lift camera cable, we will know where we stand as far as that goes and I will follow up.

If we all agree with the $5860 quote, I will ask Arnold for his permission to continue. If he gives me push back on the cost, then we may have to pay the entire cost as a last resort. We can review the lift cameras when we get the quote from LiftTronic. But I thought we may not want to hold up the rest of the work for that. Lift guys are slow.

As far as my vote goes, I think it's an unnecessary expense right now. I know you all will not likely agree with that, and that's okay. As always, I will support the democracy and advocate for the majority.
