We have exactly the same problem down the west side of the building so let’s get a quote to incorporate that as well. Did you ask for a quote on that side at the same time as the east side Darren?



Do we have any date yet for the cladding to be started? I am concerned about concrete damage from rusted steel. It’s such a problem throughout the building.  Once this becomes a major problem we’ll be replacing not only steel but a lot of concrete as well.

We have received reports of water leaks on the eastern facade wall of the building. Investigation and testing of the area have identified all the expansion joints require replacement, a section of corner angle has rusted and broken apart and the seal between the glass awning and the facade wall requires replacement. Attached is a photo of the area with the expansion joints marked in red, the corner angle in blue and the awning seal in green. We have obtained the attached quotation for $3,200 + GST to address these issues via abseil. The quote only covers painting of the corner section repair. The expansion joints will be coloured as close to the existing as possible.



These issues are common throughout the whole building facade and will need to be addressed within time. Please let me know if we have permission to proceed. Thanks
