Hi Edward,
It’s a pleasure to meet you.
We have viewed the footage of the roller door on the night of the incident, and discovered a mid sized silver station wagon has run into the roller door as it was closed. It seems that the damage was caused by accident, as the driver was attempting to back up at the time. As I’m new to the building I have limited knowledge of the occupants however, I have forwarded the footage to Patrick Rush, Matt Perkins and Woolloomooloo police to view. They will make the footage available to the insurance company to assist the claim.
If there is anything else you required, please let me know.
Kind regards,

Subject: [200William-EC SP67851] What was the cause for the roller door breaking?
Hi Darren,
I wanted to introduce myself. I live in the building and sit on the EC. I have been asked by a few people as to the cause of the breakage of the roller door. Would you please let us know if it was due to someone running into it, or a design issue with guides or top roller? This appears to be the third time it has happened, so I am wondering if there is something we can do to prevent this happening again?
Regards,
Edward Sainsbury
