Dear Committee,

I wish to advise that PICA Group has acquired BFMS Pty Ltd as of 1 February 2016.

The BFMS objective is to provide a professional Building Management Service represented by experienced, competent and enthusiastic staff.  Since 2005 the business has grown to 23 full time Building Managers across 46 Strata Plans, Communities and BMCs. Although this may seem impressive, further growth is being limited by access to resources that support milestones.

We now know the acquisition will surpass our current milestone status through advanced infrastructure within PICA Group.  PICA Group is a national property services provider with over 600 staff. Not only is this acquisition exciting for PICA Group as they have acquired Sydney's reputable Building Management Co but more so for our staff now having unlimited access to expert strata requirements, internal accreditation training, large organisation resources and versatile opportunities for growth within the Group.

BFMS will continue as an independent operator with no affect to contractual duties or arrangements. Importantly William who has been involved at Marquis since 2005 will continue on as Building Manager seamlessly and transparently as usual.

Over the next 6 months my role is to assist Simon Paxton, the General Manager and continue in my new role in developing BFMS.
