Hi All,
  At the the last EGM we spoke about Foxtel Digital and upgrading from 
the old satellite system that would allow us to get HD as well as Foxtel 
IQ2 and the new IQ3.  The single transponder satellite system we 
currently have was out of date when the developer installed it and is 
really just the old analog system with digital over the top. It limits 
the amount of channels available in the building and does not allow HD 
content.  Consumers  have not even been able to buy a SD TV for about 3 
years. Yet we still have SD Foxtel in 200 William.

William from BFMS as a result of that meeting has been investigating 
options. One option is to upgrade the satellite system. This is a very 
expensive approach as new cable needs to be run to every apartment. I 
suggested that he investigate switching the building to cable and to 
that end he has contacted Telstra regarding installing foxtel Digital 
cable. They have given an initital indication of about $8k To install 
the digital cable. Along with that they will give the residences some 
special offers and cheaper packages as part of the deal.

The big advantage is that with Digital Foxtel cable the government have 
flagged their intent to buy the HFC cable network from Telstra/Foxtel 
and roll it into the NBN. This will essentially  make NBN available in 
200 William street once that deal is complete.

I wanted to See if I could get any interest. Im not expecting anyone to 
agree with an $8k payout right now. But seeing William/George were good 
enough to do the leg work. I would put it up for feedback. I will give 
contact the Telstra guy if we have any interest and see what I cant cut 
us a better deal.
