Hi Rowan and thanks for your great work.
I am happy to support your proposal for Design Hunter quoted at $1200 and
then to put the project out to tender.

approvalneeded
Hi All
Sorry I wasn't able to make the AGM, as I'd mentioned to Matt that I'd
missed the notice as I only check my mail every couple of weeks these days
as I get everything on email.
Thank you for letting us continue the renovation project.
For an update we've arranged some different approaches for implementing the
updates to the building that we've been discussing. The three are listed
below and as group we'd discussed these on the subcommittee.
Our recommendation is to move ahead with a design concept which is
relatively inexpensive and then share these back with the EC for review.
Next steps would be a plan which we could send out to tender.
Based on capacity to handle the work, credentials and engagement with
people, the Designer Hunter are the best fit for our size of project. (See
below and attached for details, if happy to take calls to discuss this as
well)
To move ahead we approval on $1,200 + GST for 10 hrs of work.
What we'd receive:
Initial Consultation and idea's colours, layout, materials.
Concept boards for spaces, Lobby Entry, Ground Floor, Floor update. (we'd
actually see what it might look like before we move ahead)
Samples for the materials for the areas.
Could you let me know if the EC are okay with approval on this?
Also I'd need the appropriate approval on the attached signed, I assume from
George to move ahead with the engagement.
Details of our process so far:
Option 1 - Designer, will project manage and implement the work. Work to a
budget.
Paul Begg - Designer and Rob's friend who he referred.
I've met with Paul and shown him through the building. He has responded with
a couple of concepts for his idea's based on what he's seen. Paul has said
that he can work to a budget and his process is for us to agree on a concept
and he can provided a costed quote. He's happy to work through the concepts
with us.
Option 2 - Designer, will project manage and implement the work. Work to a
budget. Estimate - Marquis Renovation.pdf attached

Local designers in the Eastern Suburbs that have a team and business. I
looked them up and found them on Google. They've responded with a design
consultation letter and some pricing for them to go through the design
phase. This is attached.
Lucia Houghton lucia at thedesignhunter.com.au
Option 3 - Architect who will design, provide drawings, quote and implement
the work.
Shane Elise Construction
As you know, Shane who used to live in 401 is an Architect and I've asked if
he'd like to respond to this work since he was half way through the quote
already. The creds that we saw were pretty good and he's familiar with the
building.
