George,

This elevator number 1 situation is becoming ridiculous.  We've had the
same problem with the same life for 5 weeks.

The young woman was trapped in it for 45 minutes and you suggested she
simply wait until the serviceman arrived.  In the future, if anyone is
caught in the lift and the lift company says that we have to wait an hour
to get a person out ( and they are frantic, as this young lady was), I
intend to once again call police rescue to prize the doors open.

Bugger the expense of having the doors opened by force.  We are NOT going
to simply leave someone in a lift if they are in a frantic
situation................................and the lift service company can
bear the cost.
