Hello George,

I have just received your text in which you state that "readers on level
7 decativated."

I have just been up to level 7 and have found that the readers are still
active and there is no notice that I can see  (as per your email dated
Oct01).  Has something been placed under each resident's door?  There is
no notice in the lifts.  We must advise asap in order not to disappoint
residents "at the 11th hour" so that they can make alternative plans, if
they want to see the fireworks! !   Please advise asap what is to be
done.

Yes , I agree with Craig, I vote for the roof to be completely shut-off.

As you are all aware, this coming weekend Sydney plays host to the Naval
International Fleet Review.  Specifically on Saturday evening there is a
Fireworks and Lightshow Spectacular on and around the harbour including
the
harbour bridge and opera house.  This will occur for 30 minutes from
7.40
pm.
In this regard and in view of the recent malicious damage that was
caused
through bottles, glasses etc. having been thrown from level 7,  would
not it
be prudent to engage a security guard to patrol the rooftop level 7 area
this coming Saturday 5 October, from say 6.00 pm until 11.00 pm, or
until 30
minutes after the last person or persons have left that area of the
building. This is in keeping with the security arrangements on New Years
eve. 

I put this proposal forward as a motion and I seek your responses.
