I hope you are feeling better after your operation.

Would you kindly respond to the couple of emails I sent you last week
regarding a) why we were not informed earlier about the cancellation of the
AGM for the owners of Marquis b) who in fact cancelled the meeting and c)
why wasn't  an agenda sent out 2 weeks in advance of our AGM (as per your
email of May 9)

Also, you mention a 'correct levy' below. What are you referring to please -
our portion of operating costs?

We shouldn't worry about who didn't turn up, who forgot etc.  That may have
been what you thought happened last year. We as members of the EC must take

Rob - the AGM was scheduled for May13 and it's simply not acceptable "at the
11th hour" to be informed of its cancellation, not to mention the fact that
no agenda was sent out in advance (is there a hidden agenda perhaps to all
of this?).

Maxine - please get the AGM notice out ASAP and let's get the managing of
Marquis back into order immediately.

Hi all, watching this email chain with interest. 

I am not so sure we should be taking out the frustration on Maxine, it is
misplaced. Personally I think Maxine is doing a great job for both the BMC
and the Owners side. 

I think it appropriate to mention last years AGM and the situation around
that relating to some of the EC who were unable to attend, the meeting was
delayed for a length of time on that evening to allow for those of us who
"completely forgot" even though notices were sent out, agenda was provided,
majority turned up. Quite a few of us were inconvenienced that evening as
well, if not for a number of phone calls and the patience of the majority of
those who turned up on time, including Maxine the meeting would not have
gone ahead. So we're all human and none of us are perfect.

Moving forward, Maxine, could you please advise what date is in mind, let's
all constructively agree, have the meeting and go forward from there.

continuously for an agenda for the meeting and instead of warning him that

We locked in May 13 at our last EC meeting for the owners AGM and we're
being told 4 days out now of its cancellation!!  If the BMC AGM had to take

There was no cancellation notice sent out to anyone, prior to me questioning
you about the upcoming AGM.  Many of us have set May 13 aside and to be told

preposterous.

When you state "we have had to reschedule the AGM"....who is the "we" you
refer to?  Why is the meeting being rescheduled and why weren't the EC and
other owners who wanted to attend the meeting advised earlier? Did you do
this? We're only 4 days away!
