Ideally. Water/flood detection and alerting should be implemented in plant
rooms and sumps as a mater of best practice. There are some cheaper ones
these days that are self contained and have a mobile SIM card in them. They
send a sms message if flooding is detected and dont require a full Building
management system. I can get some quotes if people are interested.

A question regarding the imploding hot water tank (job 778 13/12/2012)- if
this were to happen again, is there now adequate drainage or would the same
occur with water running down to level 7 (gym) and lower.  Any possibility
of diverting the water?
