Hi all
I think it is time to get angry, too many people pussy-footing around in Australia and look what happens, what a mess it is.
Di and her family were put in grave danger the other night, Craig has been in the past and Matt has too.
If these selfish and arrogant bastards show no respect for others, anger is the way.
Let's not get caught up in red tape and silly Australian style bureaucratic mumbo-jumbo.
Could we please have a vote.
Do you support, yes or no, the Marquis introducing a bi-law stating that any form of alcohol and cigarettes are banned fully from the rooftop terrace.
Yes or no?
If we get a majority in favour, we can ask Maxine to action on our behalf
Many thanks

As you all know I have had a fire started from smokers throwing cigarets and bottles broken on my balcony in the past. So I support some action. Any ban on alcohol should include cigarets. Even if we do have all the legal framework in place to stop people drinking on the roof. It's still unlikely we will be able to catch/stop them. Unless you have building security or 24 hour guard/concierge how do you ever catch people.

I had the pleasure of working on the door of a night club in the cross for over 10 years and I can tell you I have seen people get themselves into life threatening situations over the simplest things. Cool heads need to prevail here.

>>> Airkey entry to carpark. I can only speak from personal experience and say that I have not had an issue on entry or exit to the underground parking. It’s a bit of a stretch but achievable and we have never felt threatened. I also have to comment that we don’t use our car much either! I would be happy to proceed with the airkey arrangement but it does seem expensive. I would rather spend the money on upgrading the ground level foyer, for example.

>>> With respect to the problems on the rooftop on Saturday night I have to say that I am having some problems with my neighbours in apartment 405, particularly with late night music and parties. I also had my daughter and grandchildren stay this weekend and we specifically asked (via a note under their door) if they could respect our need for quiet. It was very peaceful and I am wondering if they found another party venue? I emailed Maxine last week to advise her of the issue (and also concerning noise problems with apartment 501) but she has not responded. Hopefully the CCTV will reveal the culprits.
