<p> I just sent of an email to Arnold again asking if he would be
happy for the BMC to obtain quotes for downstairs foyer. I know
previously he suggested he was happy if we paid for it but it cant
hurt to ask again. I will with luck have feedback before the
meeting. <br>

<p class="MsoNormal">Since I bought here I have tried to
ascertain when the additional levy was imposed on my lots and
what the amount was and for what duration, I was never able
to get this answer, so from my personal point of view I would
like to know what my levy is likely to be when levies are
returned to a `normal’.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I am fully aware that this will be down the
track after the rest of the building issues are addressed .</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I assume it is necessary to get a new
structural engineers report on the building to assess what the
state of the building is. We are all aware that ironwork is
exposed and there is a reasonable assumption that we might
have some concrete cancer. I also understand that there is
still water ingress into certain parts of the building every
time we get heavy rain, I had been unaware of this until
recently.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Can it be ascertained when the hydraulic
system to slam shut the balcony doors on the north side, can
be removed. I am unsure if this is a cost issue or waiting for
a permit issue, but it needs addressing.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Another owner has asked that I raise the
prospect of quarterly committee meetings with outcomes emailed
or available to all owners. Seems a reasonable and practical
request.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Notification from management on any
building works, apparently recent fire damper replacement with
attendant noise with no warning was alarming to one resident.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Can a meeting be arranged with the owner of
the commercial entity, to discuss mutually agreeable update of
presentation of William street lobby, basically a paint job.
The common areas in general are shoddy but the ground level
is desperately needing a facelift. If nothing else , to begin
to restore the reputation and status of this building.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The building could be described as a`
hidden gem’ if we can get it back on track.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I would delay any formal contract with PP
Flowers until Craig is back to discuss because I wonder if
they have performed to his expectation. Craig has excellent
taste and might want a word with them.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I would also like to add `any other
business’ to the agenda to give anyone the opportunity to
speak should they wish to.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Sarah, will all owners be notified of this
meeting in case any wish to nominate for the committee,
because I think it is agreed that we are short on numbers.</p>
