Regarding Paul as chair understood you do not want Paul as chair
now. Who do you suggest chair the meeting. STM obviously will not
be there to do it. We will also need a chair to run the EGM to
bring in Ascend. Note that although the committee is decided at an
AGM the office holders are decided at the first committee meeting
of a new committee. So we as a group will be making the decision
again after the next AGM at the EC meeting.

If we cant sort out our own committee how will we get support to
change out STM for Ascend is what im getting at. Should we call
for nominations at the committee meeting for a chair and vote
rather then naming Paul. I just cant see practically how we can
move forward without a chair ? I suppose I could act as chair
until one is appointed but assume you would rather another option.
