I'm not sure there's a lot of point in setting a date for the AGM when there are no firm quotes for the work, no correct scope of work, and we have no recommendation to give to the owners regarding what we recommend the special levy will be and which quote we put forward to do the building.
The quotes at least meeting are not valid anymore and for work that did not take the completed cladding into account. I think we would need a committee meeting to decide all these things prior to setting a date for the AGM. Matt would also need to renew all the quotes (assuming he is willing to still help with the new scope of work / et al. balconies).
Once we have firm information to tell people, then we can set the AGM date. I think two weeks is all the notice that is required; it's easy to organise once we are ready and have the correct information to put in the agenda and accompanying documentation/papers.
Matt

We have been told that the cladding repairs may not happen until mid May (another delay from the March 31 date we all thought). We could have the AGM locked in for early June if we can all agree.

People are avoiding our building to buy into, not only because of high levies, but now, because of the repairs. Would other members of the EC please provide their answer to this AGM/repair situation. Thank you.

The discussion has been going on far too long and you must ask yourself what is the incentive to live in this building (if you’re looking to buy) when the word ‘out there’ is that we have major building issues? I’ve heard it from many people.

It will be obvious to the contractors we asked to provide quotes that the amount of rust and concrete cracking has increased significantly.
