Greg,

Approved. I wasn’t aware this response was required and , wrongly, assumed it was all done and dusted.

Subject: EXT - SP67851 601 sliding door

Dear Committee,

Sending this email again as previous emails kept bouncing.

Express Glass have had their senior technician/expert attend to Unit 601 to inspect the sliding door issue and provide their advice as to whether a repair or replacement is required to have the door in working order.

The supervisor has advised the following:

  * After inspection - the door, frame and wheel are all fine and in working order.
  * As per the photos in the dropbox link below, you can see damaged sliding bottom track - this is the cause of the door coming off rails and other associated issues with opening and closing the sliding door.
  * Our recommendation is to replace the bottom track only, with a new stainless-steel track which will eliminate the issue. (as per quote)

A copy of their quotation/recommendation is attached for reference.

Please advise your further instruction.
