Dear Greg,

 

Please ensure this does happen in the future; that we obtain more than one
quote.

 

Every dollar the EC agrees to be spent is being looked at (and talked about)
carefully. 602's problem is not a recent problem. I first heard about it
mid-April.

I would usually get at least 2 quotes but due to the urgency and the
approval already from the majority of the committee to accept the quote from
Unplugged, I will engage them to do the work asap

I know Unplugged are the plumbing company we regularly use, however, it
would be a good idea for us to have a price comparison from another one or
two as well. Would you kindly organize this. 

 

Altair on Kings Cross Rd, use Murray M'Clerie Plumbing (Ph: 0411 071 571)
while OMNIA use Forrester & Johnson (Ph: Ben at 0412 989 180. Both companies
come highly recommended.

Greg will need to confirm this however I don't believe alternative quotes
have been sought and the building plumbing is the only trade that has been

Did we receive any other quotes to do this basic temporary repair? This
problem in 602 has been there for several weeks now i.e. sometime since the
problem first started.  It's always good to receive multiple quotes so just
wondering if we have any others to compare to?

 

You are correct, this will be an enormous job to find where the crack/s
is/are on level 7 east. It will have to include pressure testing the deck,
with dye

Please note that Unit 602 are currently experiencing significant leaks into
their bedroom.

 

The overall repair is related to the membrane above the ceiling which will
be a long and expensive repair, however to mitigate the damage in the
meantime Unplugged have attended and provided the attached quote to install
a drip tray and run a pipe through the ceiling and into the bathroom.

 

Please confirm your approval to proceed with the attached quote.
