Hello everyone,

 

I have spoken again with Greg from Edyco and he is still happy to meet with everyone from the EC, including the engineer, as Matt suggested.  Greg N – would you please forward a copy of what Darren supplied Edyco for the original works on level 7 west, to be quoted on. I think it’s great also Greg N that you have asked Edyco to quote on all the building repairs.

 

Again, please let me know which days are best for everyone, next week and we’ll lock one day in.

Hi All,

 

I think the meeting onsite would be counter-productive at the moment as the inspection will only be visual.

 

The engineers really need to see all of the documentation from Edyco, including the scope of works, if we can get this from Edyco first then that may be all the engineers need to remove from the tender quotes.

I think he really needs to meet with the engineer.  The engineer is the one challenging his work and the engineer is the one that needs to understand what was and was not done.   ? 

Sarah can you arrange for the engineer to attend ?

He has offered to meet each member of the EC at 2pm on any day next week, starting July 29, to explain every detail of the construction he was involved with. He is a Design Building Practitioner and I believe it would be great if all, or most of us, could meet him.
