Hi all,

Just confirming, did the tenant follow the instructions on their lease in what to do for a power outage? I would imagine this would involve calling the real estate agent first for their approved electrician, who should know not to touch common property without building manager approval?

Or did they just call someone from Google who saw the issue and thought they could charge a high rate because it was common property?

That's the most expensive sparky on the planet.  The Switch is $6~  and it would take about 25 minutes to change.   So $1560 an hour for an electrician. They got scammed.

I hope you’re well.

There has been an electrical fault in the building over the weekend the tenant has had to call a tradesmen to attend they have found one of the circuits down stairs had failed please see attached invoice.

Was this able to be refunded to the tenant ?
