Hello again Kylie and EC members,
All the problems with my sliding doors (and replacement costs) were provided last year to each member of the EC, by Sarah.
Sarah, would you please resend the costs (and the issue I face with my sliding doors and the request for a French door) to Kylie, and any other member of the EC who enquire about the matter I brought to you, and the EC’s attention, last year.
I have a continual problem with the sliding doors in my lounge room, and also in apartment 403. To reiterate, the special by-law I am requesting is for French doors from my kitchen in apartment 601 to the balcony, for reasons already detailed.
Kylie, please note what you wrote on November 23, 2023 (below in yellow) where you stated that “replacing them is the only way. And you’ve had a good number of quotes.”
What do you mean in your February 6, 2024 email, below, “ I would like an understanding of the costs etc…..”. Kylie, It has been detailed to you already!
Kylie, are you and other members of the EC, available on February 14 for an EGM? I would appreciate a response asap from each member of the EC, regarding an EGM on February 15.. Thank you.

I cannot do 15/2 but can do after 4 March as most of Feb is out for me. I’m also away 23-26 feb.
I would like an understanding of the cost of what needs to be done from the building report (including cost of cladding) plus your door so we can weigh up all of our costs and what each of us needs to pay, especially if a special levy needs to be raised.

I’m Away until 14/2 and then 16-20th feb.
I can meet for an EGM after this date.
What is the quote again for the sliding door to be replaced at 601? And then the difference for French doors versus the sliding?

If anyone would like to review the pictures, reports and quotes again, for apartment 601, Sarah has them. Additionally, Sarah also has the pictures and video for apartment 403.
In my home, apartment 601, I am requesting French doors leading from the kitchen to the balcony in order to provide more through breeze from outside, into the apartment, and I’m happy to pay for the difference between the sliding doors quote and the French doors quote.
