[200WILLIAM-EC SP67851] Bins overflowing

EC members,

 

Any ideas anyone on how to educate someone to recycle?

 

I have much better things to do than transfer recyclable stuff from garbage bins to recycle bins, but I do, because too many people simply don’t care.

 

It would help our dire garbage situation so much if people remembered  (and actioned) to put paper, envelopes, cans, pizza boxes etc in the correct bins!

 

What a sad obsession some tenants/owners have with “‘not doing the right thing”!

Yep. I’m not sure there’s anything we can do unless someone knows Clover. 

I have a place in the Elan and they got a private collection the other week when council didn’t show. But it costs a lot of money. I think we pay even when they don’t show up as well. Not sure if I can get any. Only back.

I spoke to the cleaner today. Council did not come again. It’s not to the level of pickups we get it’s that they don’t come at all. Have a look online it’s a problem across sydney right now
