[200WILLIAM-EC SP67851] Lobby flowers and external lighting.

HI all,



Back today and noticed the demise of the lobby flowers, age and heat got to
them, as it is to me.  I thought that as we are having the EGM on Thursday
and , hopefully, welcoming more owners, it would be a good idea to replace
the flowers and keep the lobby looking cared for until we get the go ahead
for a regular service.



Craig, I bought some greenery from Harris Farm as a stop gap but found they
didn’t work with your vase so swapped it for one of mine ( which I want
back on next change over with contractors). I have your vase in my unit ,
just give me a call to see what we do.



As an adjunct I came in via Dowling street and noticed that all the
external  ceiling lights were off, is it the norm, if so it’s a good
argument for LED and/or motion activated lighting, particularly as our
letter boxes are located here.



All good, except for this heat.

Yes I think $60 a week for a full changeover is a good price. it has made a
huge difference to the lobby.

$3120 P/A does not sound to bad for the service to me. I know at 350 George
we are paying a lot more then that.  If we go ahead I think we should  wait
until after Ascend take over as im sure they wont get paid if we do it
before Ascend are fully established and have control of the bank accounts.

As to the meeting. The meeting is an EGM and would not normally agree to
day to day expenses like what are suggesting here. It would be done an an
EC meeting.  There are no EC meetings scheduled but once we have the EGM I
suggest we schedule an EC meeting with Sarah from ascend so we can go
through everything with her.  We could put it on the agenda for that
meeting.

But I think you have got a good deal Craig and im in agreement we should go
ahead even though im usually fairly tight with accounts, I think it makes a
nice difference to reception and is wroth it.

Potts Point Flower Shop are willing once a week to come by, remove the old
flowers and place new flowers in the vase. Sometimes, the flowers may last
two weeks, however, in most cases they will be changed once a week. The
charge for this is $60 per week and Potts Point Flower Shop would send a
monthly bill to Ascend to be paid.

Can I get agreement from you please to move ahead on this asap. We don’t
need to add it to our meeting for Thursday.
