Hello
Just a brief update. You may have received a slightly different looking email from Reinah. She has decided to ask for the photographic study from some other buildings (like the one we did). She found that some didn’t have that out of the 100 or so view loss objections and so is evening up the information.
Then, she or a consultant (potentially employed by Council in this discipline) will be back in touch to organise the site visits.
So, this means we have a bit more time.
What I would respond with to the recent one is:
Re-attach the view photographs (or I can).
Add any more photographs that you would like, such as from bedrooms (we focussed on living areas as that is the focus of the case law/key living areas).
Say your view submissions still stands and say that you would definitely like the officer or the Council consultant to come and physically appreciate the impact on your views and amenity at your properties.
Can you please also mention this to Kathy please?
I am on leave this week but wanted to convey this change.
Thank you N

I think it would be very beneficial to visit both Kathy and Matt G. Both apartments suffer massive impact by the proposed development. Council's standards are set around view sharing. So they will decided on balance even though someone might be impacted, is the impact fair. In both cases with Matt and Kathy the impact is 100% there is no measure of sharing the view. In the case of others like Craig for example the impact although substantial could be argued that on balance there is still some view remaining and it is a fair sharing arrangement. I think it's critical that we show apartments with those severe losses I dont know if Barney's apartment has sold yet but it would be another that would be majorly impacted. 306 also recently sold I think. That would also be a major impact. These are I think critical that we show. If we get somes times and dates perhaps Darren can co-ordinate access.
Kind regards
Matt

Hello Katherine,
It would be great if you would allow Darren access for when Reinah visits the apartment building.
FYI, Reinah is not the lady who took the photos. Your home was visited by another lady who took the pictures for Natalie's DA complaint submission.
As long as Darren has your apartment keys, that will help Natalie greatly. Would you please arrange this..
Best regards,
Craig

Re: [200WILLIAM-EC SP67851] Updated - Impending Council Site Visit/View Assessment
Hi Matt, Matt and All,
Thank you for the email. I’m currently away in sunny Greece and as I won’t be returning until 1 August will not be available for the assessment next week. However Reinah visited for a pretty thorough look last time, took many photos and we discussed the significant impact the development would have on my apartment. I’m wondering if she is able to use that assessment this time, otherwise would it be possible for Darren to provide access to my apartment? Unfortunately I have no other alternative for access at this time.
Thanks for your involvement in this very important matter.
All the best,
Katherine French. Ap 101.

Hi Natalie,
This is great news. I will definitely be there to show Reinah our apartment, 405. We will be highly impacted by the current design.
Feel free to pass my contact details or keep me in the loop when she books. Any time suits.
Regards,
Matt

Hi Natalie,
That all sounds positive. We would need Darren to sort out access I think in some instances. Matt Guy's Place would be on the list and I also think Kathy on Level 1 would be important as both of them are impacted.
Also If Kate on level 2 could arrange access with her tentant It would be good to see the impact from her apartment as well. I have included Kate and Katherine both on the cc here so we can contact them im sure they both would help out as their impact is substantial.
I know Craig is away but On balance I think the apartments down lower will show much more significant impact from councils inspection point of view. So that may not be an issue.
Kind regards
Matt.

Hello Matt and Matt I hope you are well.
I have texted Craig and he has also asked me to email you the following update for your attention and advice:
Reinah, the assessing officer from Council phoned Tuesday afternoon to give me to give me the ‘heads up’ that she is going to be in contact with owners via email to seek expressions of interest for her visit units. To do her own view assessment. This is good news.
If we can please organise everyone to be ready to receive this notification and to decide on whether they would like Reinah to attend. I think this would be very valuable as she is making her own individual assessment based on our submissions. She and I discussed that the applicant’s second attempt was also not adequate (as raised in our submissions).
People don’t need to feel pressured, but I do think it is important that Reinah sees some of the units - as many as possible for this DA assessment.
If you could perhaps speak to residents and organise a few places to visit?
Reinah did note that this might occur next week or the week after.
If people want me to be there, I can be there. Reinah would be ok with that as well (as I checked).
If this timeframe is simply too tight, let me know and I can let Reinah know. I am going to try and ask for the week after next to give us all time.
Please feel free to email any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks, and regards, Natalie 0438 828 972
