We have to still 'train' people to put recyclables into the yellow bins. It's ridiculous.
It's so frustrating to go down to the Garbage room and find so many bottles (plastic and glass), pizza boxes in the red bins. I don't enjoy it at all but I go through the red bins sometimes and move the items over.
It's so easy to recycle and there are still too many lazy people who don't try to look out for our landfills.
Darren, would you please put a strongly worded notice up in the elevators and in the notice board, for a couple of weeks, to remind owners and tenants. If we can get people to change the way they get rid of garbage, we may not need the extra red bin/s.
Thank you,
Craig

Hi All,
The current Allocation per unit allows us 6 bins the cost for this i calculate to be $28,272 P/A If we choose to add an additional 3 bins.
Council propose to charge us $40,432.P/A That's 70% odd percent.
(the price per unit jumps from $744 per unit to $1064 Per unit P/A)
Council did not give a breakdown per bin price. I can go back and ask for a cost for 1 extra and 2 extra. But it's a lot of money.
Matt.
