Dear Natalie,

It’s wonderful to have your expertise again re this new DA.

I have reviewed the link and the only major change I can see is the walkthrough between the main building and smaller building (north of the main). Judge Lane walkthrough is still the same. Also, they show on the plans that the angle off William Street is very sharp. Sharper than it actually is and this will have an enormous impact on the views for all buildings, including ours!

What are the exact heights of the buildings going to be, including lift housing on top and a/c units etc. These will also obstruct the views, not just the height from all the residences on top of each other!

You are correct in the Heading View Impact Study on 164-194 William Street, Woolloomooloo, our building is not even highlighted. What happened to our views being obstructed? The report shows other buildings in the area, however, ours is kept out for some reason. Why? We provided detailed photographs from within many of our apartments, together with your report, months ago, and we haven’t been considered!

I am still concerned that the traffic situation hasn’t been mentioned other than drawings which look may ‘okay’ to someone who doesn’t live in the area, but those of us who understand the situation of getting into Dowling st or Forbes, it doesn’t show any differently. For the Forbes st exit from the new building, if joining the Eastern distributor, one of the options is using a one way lane, “Corfu” land. Ridiculous.

If driving from the eastern suburbs it shows that one comes down William Street and then turns right at Riley street and has to then make a back-road journey to get to Forbes street. It will become a nightmare for William Street, which is already busy in the mornings and evenings. This is a critical situation – we must accommodate more traffic from this proposed building!! What is the best way to handle this!?

I’m available of course for any questions you may have. Please don’t hesitate to call me.

Thank you Natalie.

Best wishes,
Craig

Hello, The amendments have come in. Please see the link below.

I am about to call Reinah as I may be going cross eyed, but I can’t see your property detailed in the view assessment as was required.

Please let me know your thoughts when you have a chance to have a look.

I don’t see the height or scale as much improved based on my very quick look this morning.

Thank you and regards, Natalie
