The processer board repair was successful and the lift is now back in service. I'm hoping to have the controller upgade cost next week. Thanks

Yes, please go ahead and have both elevators make the change to the processors. And also, please obtain a quote on controllers.  I believe it will be best to make the change on these also.

Hi all,


As you may know lift 2 has been out action for a couple of days. The main processor board has failed and is not detecting shaft information input. Unfortunately, this board is obsolete and the only way to replace it is upgrading to a new version. Because this are duplex both lifts need to be the same so they can communicate each other to dispatch calls.



The board manufacturer can attempt to repair this board and the cost will be $520 plus GST. There is no warranty that will work but is our best chance now. If you are ok with the charges, please let me know and I will organize this repair and put the lift back to service.



Liftronic recommend we consider upgrading these controllers asap to avoid long shutdown period. If you want, I can organize a quote for your consideration? Thanks
