Thank you for your email.
I have talked to John (Master waterproofing) 2 week ago to raise the concern on HBCF (insurance) and explain the requirement under the legislation as the work cost $80k. I have been advised that they would like to quote the work separately to ensure the tasks are below $20k each to be exempted on the HBCF. I have requested the revised quotation to be sent. I was waiting for the updated quotation to present to the committee to review.
I have been in contract with Greg and John (Master waterproofing) on 11th July again, understand they would like to start the work in unit 103 before the roof rectification. I have further requested John to separate the quotation for unit 103 work and we can review and approve on this to avoid further delay for unit 103. I am still waiting for the revised quotation.
I am happy to have a quick chat with the committee if needed.

As previously discussed, upon closer inspection the parapet wall along William st will need
Attention.
Erection of overhang scaffold along wall
Remove all render off both sides of the wall
Repair wall to ensure waterproof along wall is intact
Re render wall
Paint wall both sides.
Quote $47,000.00+ gst
Scaffold $17,000.00+ gst
Pedestrian protection/over board $16,000.00+ gst
This will need to be completed before we commence the rooftop as the water penetrating though the wall
Will effect the waterproofing membrane.
If you will like to proceed with the rooftop and before this is complete will beware that NO warranty will be
Given on any scope of works and issued invoices will be invoice out as labour only.
The terms will change for invoicing to ensuring payment will be received in full before completion of rooftop.
