Morning Adam,

the March – May levy is only approximately a 9% increase from previous quarterly levies, however, from reviewing your levy notice that you have just received, this also includes a “previously invoiced” amount, which was explained and outlined in the attached agenda and minutes.

This additional “Levy” for the financial year 01/03/20 – 28/02/21 was so that we could clear a deficit in the administration fund prior to the end of the financial year. This was levied and issued to all Owners 23/12/20 and is due and payable (as outlined in the minutes) 01/02/21 to ensure that it was received prior to the buildings end of financial year. However, will show up on all Owners newest levy notice that was issued 21/01/21 if it hadn’t already been paid.

hi everyone, hope you're all having a lovely long weekend! finally great weather.

I obviously wasn't paying enough attention in the meeting. I just got my strata fee invoice for March through May and they are about 50%. higher than normal.

Is there an easy explanation?
