Hello Darren,

 

At the same time that you distribute the notice re NYE would you please
include a notice to every apartment that many, many residents are still not
complying with our wish for all recyclable garbage to be put into the
correct yellow bins. Too many people are simply dumping everything into the
red garbage bins, without separating recyclable vs garbage.

 

Every time I go to the garbage room I personally take extra time to open the
red garbage bins and take out so many bottles, cans, papers, boxes
(including pizza boxes).  Pizza boxes are recyclable even if they have
grease on them. 

 

Please advise residents to simply put any left-over food into a plastic or
paper bag for the red garbage bins and put all the recyclable items into the
yellow bins.

 

It's frustrating to see how many people don't care. Kindly highlight the
above clearly in your letter.

Hi Darren,

 

The EC has voted not to open the rooftop this NYE. The vote was not
unanimous; however, it was due to the recent surge in COVID cases and
subsequent lock downs.

 

Therefore, we will not need to distribute the letter.

Good morning EC,

 

Time is running out to finalise the NYE rooftop plans. The western terrace
is out of action and Government restrictions on numbers have been lifted.
After crunching the numbers, we propose we engage 2 x security and 1 x
cleaner and open the eastern rooftop at 8pm. The cost per ticket this year
will need to increase from $30 to $40 and the event numbers should be capped
at 60 - 70pax. Attached is a notice which I will distribute today if there
are no objections. Thanks
