[200William-EC SP67851] GYM and SAUNA

Good morning,

 

I ran into the owner of apartment 503 today when I went into the gym.  He
was in the sauna and I advised him, that until further notice, we were
keeping the gym and sauna closed.  He stated that he had seen others
entering the gym, which means that the fobs are still working.

 

He completely understood the reason the gym was closed for the present time
(because we're not able to monitor the QR codes and the COVID certificate).

 

He mentioned also that he was running on the treadmill sometime recently and
it stopped suddenly, which could have created a major incident.  He is a
lawyer and said that this type of accident could create a lawsuit.

 

We need to look into what we put into the gym so that situations like this
don't reoccur. Darren, would you please have the machine turned off until a
decision is made by the Body Corporate as to whether or not we replace it or
find another piece of equipment.
