[200William-EC SP67851] SP 67851 - Unit 206 - Dog without approval/notification & barking

Good Afternoon Committee,

We have received reports of a dog in unit 206, of which is barking at all hours of the early morning, and disturbing one residents sleep/quiet enjoyment.

The by-laws indicate that the Owners Corporation must be notified of any animals, of which unit 206 did not do. When we reached out to the managing agent for this lot, we sought the completion of a pet application in order to follow the correct procedure.

The most recent complaints relating to this dog/noise are as follows:


  *   Wednesday 17th November at 12:30am
  *   Thursday 18th November at 1:00am
  *   Thursday 25th November at 2:00am
  *   Monday 29th November at 5:40am (for 10mins)
  *   Thursday  2nd December 1:33am
  *   Friday 3rd December 1:34am

It is only one resident that is lodging the complaints to my knowledge (unless other residents are reporting it to Darren/their property manager).

We have issued a breach of by-law letter for this issue already, please advise whether you would like our office to take this matter further by isuing a notice to comply (please note committee meeting & costs apply).
