Attached is the order form the minister.
Public Health (COVID-19 Places of social gathering order 2020). Made
under the public health act. 2010
You will note the following.
5 (1) The minister directs the following must not be open to members of
the public
(g) recreation facility (indoor)
In the definitions under the standard instrument (2006)
(3) Recreation facility (indoor) means a building or place used
predominantly for indoor recreation, weather on not operated for the
purposes of gain, including a squash court, indoor swimming pool,
gymnasium, table tennis center, health studio, bowling alley, ice rink
or any other building or place of a like character used for indoor
recreation.
You will note that we are considered members of the public as it's a
shared facility as such it's not private. (like drunk driving in the car
park your still covered by the road rules).
