Hello Patrick,
There will only be 2 owners, who are not part of the EC, joining us tomorrow. To my knowledge, Adam Creighton (apt 404) and John Burney (apt 202).
I’m sure you will appreciate that since the EC in August at which several non-EC members attended, many owners have been very concerned as to what is happening with level 7, as work has only recently recommenced and levies have increased dramatically It was agreed at the August meeting that those owners would be included in the future decision on the planter boxes. As per the emails in the past week, we had planned to all meet sometime after February 5, however, the meeting has now been brought forward to tomorrow!
Normally, the EC should be an effective body, however as per my email on Monday, we still haven’t been able to come to a basic, final decision on the BBQ on the east side of level 7 and Mr Ligas from Preservation Technologies is still waiting on a response to his email from early November (see my email dated January 29). It also doesn’t help when certain EC members don’t even have the courtesy of responding to emails which have been circulated recently (is Mr. Beves still a member?).
I know Adam and John have the building’s very best interests at heart and I look forward to them joining us tomorrow.

Hi Craig,
I am more than happy to have Owners resent at the Committee Meeting but I believe it best to keep the meeting tomorrow to the Committee Members that can attend, Tanaz, the Engineer from SES, Preservation Technologies and I.
It is probably not best to turn up to the meeting with 10 or so Owners confronting the builder. This will only cause angst and I don’t believe the builder will appreciate it!
Going forward and as requested last week, can you please keep Committee communication to the Committee.

I am available on any night next week.
I will this week try and find an organization to provide a quote on covering the planter boxes for both sides of level 7. It's absurd to do half of the building. The issue is maintaining 100% low costs by keeping plants and soil out of the planter boxes and checking on whether or not the membrane is holding (at any time), if there is a future leak.

Its good to keep this moving Craig.
The week after Feb 5 works for me. I am out of town because of the works in the roof.
It would appear that using large plastic, easy removable pots with water catchment bases is the way to go.
I can get together a rough budget for pots, plants, modified irrigation system and labour.
Craig, would you like to get an estimate for securely covering your side so we can make informed decisions.
Would Wednesday Feb 7th at 6.30pm - on the roof work for everyone for a meeting ??
