Hi Matt & Darren,
I have sent an urgent request to BMAUS and Andrew Veron to have AVIS investigate the possible fuel tank leak.
I have advised BMAUS and Andrew that this matter is urgent and requires immediate attention.
I will provide an update once I have a response from Ben or Andrew.
Kind regards,
Patrick Rush

Still if petrol is escaping into the sewer that's not really a good thing. The smell last night was overpowering in the basement. It's a little better this morning but not much. We had to block under the doors in our apartment last night to stop the ingress. I think at this point it has become a safety issue. Is there anything further we can do ?

Hi Matt/Patrick,
Behrang from AJ Whipps thinks the smell may have escaped when they took the lid off the sewer pit, however it should have dissipated buy now. They did not go near the fuel tanks and has advised that Avis get the tank checked as a precaution.

We think it might be that the testing by the hydraulic engineers Friday may have stirred up the smell Darren is checking with them.

Patrick/Darren can you investigate. It could be the Avis tank leaking. It's overpowering on b4 was worse on Friday. Perhaps they had a fuel spill.
