Hi Patrick and EC
I just wanted to put my position and questions into one email for your
consideration and response.
1. In relation to my car space on P4 and Craig's car space and cage, I have
not been able to use this area for more months than I care to remember.
However, if I don't have confirmation that the work has been approved to
proceed within the next 7 business days I will proceed to tribunal with
the aim of having the work ordered to commence and the strata pay for the
strata fees I have incurred without having the use of my property. This has
dragged on too long.
@Patrick: I know you have been trying to get a response from the commercial
strata rep. Thank you for your efforts to date and please impose on the
commercial strata that their in action will be at the heart of my complaint
and the punitive action I'll seek.
2. I support the removal of the BBQ and sink on level seven and to have the
pipes blocked/capped. With no furniture up there it seems like it is only
used at new years and at this point an unnecessary upkeep expense. The bbq
also looks in disrepair.
@Patrick: Does this need to go to the AGM or can we finalise as an EC with
a vote?
3. I agree that we should not be replacing soil on level 7 into the planter
boxes. It seems that these are a contribution to the issue and we should
not incur costs in pulling them up again. Can we have recommendations for
some form of lid or cover that could provide easy access should an issue
arise again. This is critical to have for the AGM so we will have some
viable options to discuss.
@Patrick: could you please ask and receive recommendations from the
engineer on what this solution could look like.
4. Could someone explain the significant difference in cost for the
membrane in the planter boxes vs the ones we had put in the podiums. It
doesn't seem like the area could be that significantly different to warrant
to significant price increase.
@Patrick/Matt: this definitely isn't my area of expertise. Am I missing
something?
