I agree,
We cannot just allow drilling without an evaluation of the location of each
hole, taking rebar and other factors into account.
If this is in place I support the drilling of the holes.

I was not aware The Act made a determination between the reason common
property was being modified.
I have no objections to the contractor completing the work once the building
engineer determines there is no conflict between building hydraulic and
electrical services and the proposed drill site.

Good morning Mark
Just in regards to the drilling of holes for core testing this process is
common and will not affect the structure of the build in any case and we
drill and insert a core sleeve that then seals up the hole drilled 1cm W x 8
cm L and new flooring is laid on top of sleeves.

Hi Peni,
See below response from my Strata manager. Can you confirm what FRA would
plan to do with the core drilled holes after you have the required
measurements to bring this slab back to pre-existing conditions? What is the
remediation process for repairing these or is there any requirement given
the size of these holes?
