The Solutions report is an estimate and they will not help find the service
provider for those works. So I will be guided by you.
I just need to know what repairs and/or painting needs to be carried out
now. Then I can give my suggestion.

Its interesting that the Solutions in Engineering report estimates $106k. It
cost $136k in 2009.
The actual repairs quoted by BASEFX is about $30k inc gst. If Solutions in
Engineering can source the painter to carry out the painting, the OC can use
BASEFX to do the repairs (30k) it will end up costing $147k inc gst which
would be cost effective.

The total repair quoted by BASE is in the order of
$163,570 (including GST).
The budget for full repaint is estimated in the
Solutions In Engineering report at $106,962 (including GST). I note that
this is a straight repaint. George, would you think that there is
significant expense to be added to this?

Good afternoon All
Just in is the report and quote to the repair of the façade. I have been
pushing the contractor since the AGM.
I have asked the contractor to provide more detail to exactly to where the
"part sides end" to the William st repairs.
In the interim the initial submission for the William street repairs is;
$87,60,00. Breakdown - $18,850 for the repairs and $68,750.00 for the
painting. This excludes gst. Works will be carried out by abseil not
scaffold hence the significant cost reduction.
The second stage is repairs and painting to the remaining 3 facades;
$61,100. Breakdown $8,000 for repairs and $53,100 for the painting. This
excludes gst. Works will be carried out by abseil not scaffold hence the
significant cost reduction.
Please note that the second stage is not urgent and can be completed in two
equal parts over the next couple of years.
All in the whole the total budget $148,700.00 plus gst.
