Today I received a text from the owner of 601 asking when the works will commence as NCAT set June as the completion date.

I will reply and advise that his time away has delay the process of obtaining quotes and that we will be issuing a work order today to the contactor.

Hi George,
 I believe we dont have a choice but to follow NCAT's orders and further to protect our selves we need to follow the Engineer's recommendations to the letter. I support the engineers quote to do the scope of work. Even though the price is very high for something so simple. Something we offered to do ourselves in the beginning of this process.

Our fees for carrying out the further investigations around the sliding door will be $800 + GST. There will also be additional costs for a specialist building contractor of approximately $400.

Our fees for preparing a scope of works for repairs will be approximately $2,500.
