The reply should come from Pia on STM letterhead.
I consider the issues raised by La Forest frivolous and vexatious and
respond in his point form:
1. Where is the evidence? He will not be
telling/instructing George Ziri to perform anything. These are matters for
the determination by the EC.
2. This is a matter for determination by the BMC.
3. This is NOT the responsibility of the Strata as it is
not common property. If he has a problem with a kitchen latch HE can
contact HIS repairman.
4. For the record, I note the efforts and numerous
attempts by George Ziri to obtain access to La Forests unit on this issue,
only to have been frustrated and denied access by La Forest.

Received this from 601. Forwarding for everyone. I have made no reply.
I note that Option 2 is a problem for the commercial strata and has nothing
to do with us. He should bring it up with the commercial strata. Pia. Could
you please give Mr Laforest the Strata Plan Number responsible for the fuel
tanks and the contact details for that strata.
As per 3,5 George can you please make an assessment if this damage to
common property is ware and tare or damage by the owner of 601.
Matt.

Subject: Craig Laforest - our meeting yesterday
Good morning William,
Further to our meeting yesterday, I would like to highlight the points we
discussed:
1. Water is entering my garage and storage area, together with parking
space 15, and you will investigate with George Ziri using a compound to stop
this from happening.
2. While we were investigating point 1, we noted that the fuel
tanks/hoses between level P3 and P4 are easily accessible. When we looked
at them we were able to open the thin wooden doors easily. There is no lock
on them. The area where these hoses are, I believe, should be safely
contained by a steel, locked door. Even though you mentioned that this is
AVIS's responsibility, the fumes that are coming from the area, once the
doors are opened is overwhelming and I consider, very dangerous. I am
copying the EC in on this email also.
3. One of my latches from my kitchen sliding door has broken/snapped
off. Please have someone contact me to have it repaired. I believe Geoff
was the handyman who repaired it the last time.
4. I await confirmation from you on the dates that the water seeping
repairs will start on my overhangs (and I assume apartment 602 also).
5. Please provide me with an update on the cracked glass pane on my
balcony.
Thank you William for your assistance as always.
Best regards,
Craig Laforest
