Hi Matt, Mark, Ed and Barney
The undermentioned email from La Forest is self explanatory and
inflammatory.
Accordingly I move a motion for approval to seek independent legal advice in
this matter.
This approval would be limited to an initial consultation with a recommended
legal body having over 30 years experience on strata law issues.
I vote in the affirmative and would be prepared to represent the EC at this
initial meeting in company with Matt Perkins.
Please give this matter your immediate attention.
Brook

Mr Perkins,
1. May I suggest that after 5 months of advising the EC and the
property manager on the matter of incredible power surges affecting my
apartment and supplying both with full information, and a report from Glenco
Electrics, and no action being taken inside my apartment, you should
therefore either resign your position as the key contact in the EC or have
Mr George Ziri, our Property Manager be replaced immediately.
No one has personally contacted me regarding the situation in my apartment.
No one. And the problem is still there every day. I need to have these
surges monitored inside by a specialist and if you don't respond to my
request nor Mr Ziri, who is one to turn to?
The Strata Title Manager has forwarded all my communication regarding the
surges to you and the EC and the only thing that was approved was for Sharpe
Air Conditioning to look at the air conditioning units on the plant roof.
Again, no one from Sharp came into my apartment to ask where the surges were
happening! I have explained that they cause headaches and vomiting and the
same occurred last night.
This enormous problem falls under the responsibility of the EC and the
Property Manager and I will continue to contact you and the EC until someone
does something and contacts me about monitoring the situation.
2. In terms of "behaviour," I believe you have heard one side of the
argument from a former homophobic neighbour in apartment 602 and not my side
of the story. If you would like to, I am more than happy to explain what
occurred and you have no need to be "frightened" of me. Interestingly
enough I ran into your wife yesterday and your son and we had a very
pleasant conversation. She was extremely polite to me and is always the
same way when I run into her.
And I believe you are also disturbed simply because you attacked me by
physically confronting me in the elevator one day, in front of your parents,
and spat on me. I was totally calm with you as you berated me and I reported
you immediately to the police in Kings Cross, who followed through with a
phone call to you... and you confirmed the abusive tirade you had made.

Mr La Forest
As I have told you on previous occasions no less then 5 times. I will not be
contacting you. I am not an expert in the field of "power surges". I
consider your emails and phone calls harassment .
To be clear stop calling me. stop emailing me. do not approach me or my
family. We are all frightened by your behaviour in past. The correct
channels for your queries is the building manager or Strata manager.
I will not respond any further to any of your emails.

Hello Pia,
This is outrageous.
I have outlined in an earlier email and again in my email dated August 6
below, what needs to be done to monitor this extremely unhealthy situation.
We need a professional person to leave monitors in my apartment to test when
these experiences happen. Not once have I been contacted by Matt Perkins or
George Ziri, our property manager, about what areas in my apartment am I or
my guests feeling these major power surges. Can they please explain why I
haven't been contacted? I requested that in my recent emails.
Today, I experienced two power surges at about 930am with a stinging
sensation on my body after which I vomited, as I lay on my bed and then on
the couch in the main living area at approximately 1030am . It is
outrageous that no one investigates this matter. When will someone
investigate this matter in my apartment? I have had this problem happening
for over 6 months!
Again, I request urgently that the body corporate investigates this matter
as it is a very harmful matter in my apartment. I await a phone call (still)
from the building manager or Matt Perkins. My phone number is 0409 323 585
Please keep me advised as soon as possible.
Thank you and regards,
Craig Laforest

Hi Craig,
Following your below email, the building management have discussed the
matter and are baffled as expensive investigations carried out have failed
to locate the reported issue and its existence.
The building management are currently in discussions of the next steps.
Should you have any queries regarding the above, please do not hesitate to
contact me.

Hello Matt and Pia,
I have asked repeatedly for a specialist to investigate the enormous power
surges I am experiencing in my apartment. It started again today at 900am
in a variety of rooms. We need to have a monitor in the apartment to
register these surges as they happen.
I have been asking for months for action on this, so please contact me
immediately on 0409 323 585. I have also left word for George Ziri to phone
me.
Thank you and regards,
