Hi Di,

I thought I would give you an update so you know you are not being ignored.

Last night  all members of the EC had a phone conference to address this issue.

Matt has written an amended by-law, the EC agreed on the new by law.
The amendments go to addressing concerns raised at our last meeting and it is a good compromise.
This went to STM who have issued a call for Extraordinary General Meeting on December 10th.
I have attached a copy if the notice, this has been posted to all owners, as is required by law.

For a by-law change to fail more than 25% of lot entitlements of those voting in person or by proxy  need to vote against.
The last vote out of a possible 2679 votes, there were had 706 against. It needed no more than 670 against to fail.

If on the 10th December the amended by-law is passed then Pia can action immediately (ie she can register it the next day).

Thanks to Matt and the other EC members who came together quickly last night to address this.

On a side note, it worth pointing out that the EC was unanimous in supporting this change for the betterment all the owners and residents.
