I also think this is a lot or money for 1 unit, where they are protected by

I am in agreement with Rob on this one it is disproportionately expensive
for one unit.
I think we should note the request and review at next budget update.

Quotation attached for the additional camera at McElhone St. It is quite
expensive for 1 camera however it is a long cable run and will also need its
own power supply for the long distance. If we are able to use the existing
dummy housing for this camera the price will go down by $115.00 plus GST.

Also, there is another matter I would like to raise to you. The building is
installed a security camera system on each level recently to protect the
residents in the building, however my apartment can only access from side
street McElhone St, outside the building, so I am the only one who are not
benefit from the system. In a very unforunate event of break & steal, I can
not produce any video proof of the suspect to the police like any other
apartment in the building could.
Just wondering is there a solution to this issue? as my apartment belongs
to the residential part of the building and I contribute to the levy. so can
I suggest to further install another security camera or maybe a simple
burglar alarm on my side of the building or I can get some reimburshment if
I pursure a security system myself? As the security problems raise the
concerns of the residents including myself after the "break & steal"
accidents last year and also my previous neighbour of drug dealing with
constant strangers comming into the building.
