Hello Everyone,

As you are aware I provide respite care for foster children.  It is a wonderful opportunity to help children who have encountered the worst in their lives and are desperate to be placed in a loving environment, if not on a permanent basis but over a weekend period.  It can be challenging at times, depending on the situation the child has come from, but the experience is also wonderful.  I have been fostering a little 8 year old boy every fortnight and I must say we have shared some terrific experiences.  He loves anything to do with ferries and cruise ships!

Life without Barriers (www.lwb.org.au<http://www.lwb.org.au>) is an organization, based in Rockdale, which is desperate for people to help out with these children with ages ranging from babies through to 18 years.  I am always receiving urgent respite request emails.

I will be placing a pamphlet in each mailbox, and in addition I would like to place in the G level notice board a pamphlet for Life Without Barriers for a one month period, so that anyone interested may contact them and hopefully go through the assessment process (too often mailbox pamphlets get thrown away without being read carefully).

Would the EC kindly allow me to place a notice on the board on G level. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
