[200William-EC] FW: Server Problems

At this late stage, I see a barrage of people (tenants......... and their
guests...........and some of THEIR guests) coming into the building.  The
security we have had in the past has not allayed the problems of liquor
going up to level 7 and glasses, cans and bottles being dropped over the
side.  I've lived through it each year.

Based on this, I believe we should not open yet another problem on the roof.

As you are all aware, this coming weekend Sydney plays host to the Naval
International Fleet Review.  Specifically on Saturday evening there is a
Fireworks and Lightshow Spectacular on and around the harbour including the
harbour bridge and opera house.  This will occur for 30 minutes from 7.40
pm.
In this regard and in view of the recent malicious damage that was caused
through bottles, glasses etc. having been thrown from level 7,  would not it
be prudent to engage a security guard to patrol the rooftop level 7 area
this coming Saturday 5 October, from say 6.00 pm until 11.00 pm, or until 30
minutes after the last person or persons have left that area of the
building. This is in keeping with the security arrangements on New Years
eve. 

I put this proposal forward as a motion and I seek your responses.
