1. 12 month warranty
2. Service is $98 per hour. The current CCTV hadn’t required service until about 4 years later. That was to refocus of cameras – cost about $350.
3. No ongoing maintenance contract

Hi George, thanks for putting this together.
In principal I am happy with the 5K version quote, I have a number of quick questions.
What warranty would come with this installation and how long does it last?
Is service included in the fee for a certain period immediately after installation.?
If not how much per hour is their service / labour charge and is there a minimum call out fee?
Is there an ongoing service / maintenance contract required?
If so, what would the cost implications be for it, how often etc etc.
This is an EC question: in light of this additional expense over and above the budget for 2013/14 FY can we please have recommendations for cuts in another area in order to afford this additional expense. Keep in mind the additional expense will be not only for the initial install but on-going maintenance and service.
I have no intention of paying additional stray fees again, for quite a time. We already punch WAY above our weight in terms of strata fees for this type of building.
Please let me know your thoughts and answers before I vote.
In the meantime, I am currently roughly 6 hours time zone behind Sydney so I apologise in advance for any delayed reply
