Someone has destroyed the lock on the door from the fire stairs to our
level 6 lobby. The closure is completely broken, and the handle is
missing. Yesterday there were tiny chips of paint all over the carpet on
the lobby side. Does anyone know who is responsible because I don't
think the Body Corporate should have to stump up for malicious damage.

Apparently someone from a lower floor (below 6) 'had to be restrained'
according to Shane and Matt? What was that all about - because it sounds
as though they may have been the culprit.

If you go up the stairs to level 7, you can open the door to the roof
without a key. It just pulls open. Is it meant to be like that?

regards,

Di

Hi All,

Unusual. The equipment isn't set on timers though I will check to see if
they do time on. Could it be someone dropping weight lifting gear???

Shane i can give you access but wont be until Monday. You can grab the
keys from the AVIS office just as long as you return them each morning
for the contractors.

Hi all,

I first heard the noise Sunday morning. Was woken at 4:30 and it was
loud and alarming and definitely in the building west of 602 and between
wiliam st and lobby. It happened again an hour later and an hour after
that.
Phil and I went to check level 7 and found signs of recent activity
(footprints in the dew and bottle tops). We couldn't access west roof??
The sauna was dry. Later Phil and George saw CCTV footage showing a
dawn party In action on the east roof.
I think this is coincidental as the noises were not like human
revelling, and happened again on subsequent nights.
Phil recorded last night's repetitious noises and tried to record the
louder single thumping one but as you never know when to expect it,
couldn't.
It's wired as it happens every night and not during the day. How can a
noise from the plant room only occur in the wee small hours?
The plot thickens.
Cheers,
Di
PS it would spook the stilettos off a hooker...

Sounds like steel or masonry bouncing against concrete - (George, you
know the machines they use for acoustic testing? - sounds like that)
