[200William-EC] The Tapping Noise

Hi George and everybody,

The mechanical tapping, which starts at around 5:10AM and continues
spasmodically for a few hours almost every morning must be investigated,
unless everybody is happy to be woken that early.

I wonder George, if a flyer under everone's door asking what they hear,
might be appropriate.

Is there something in the services of the building that switches on at that
time and may be causing the noise (which sounds like metal on wood). It is
still going now at 8AM.

This has been going now for months and I feel must be addressed.
