The new parts are two large readers that work the same as the ones when you
strike at the garage entry and exit.

 

They will require additional hardware to intergrade with the system.

 

They will require install and commissioning

 

They will require new air keys (tags) that sit on your windscreen as like
you motor way tag

That is correct.

 

The labour to install and approx $3500 for 50 new tags is included.

 

I would believe the system it self would cost between 2000-3000k

Hello George,

I was talking to my nephew yesterday.  He is the President of the EC in the
REX and they have a garage exit/entry system similar to the one I was
suggesting.  When I mentioned to him that we had recently rec'd two separate
quotes between $7.5 and $9.5K he was astounded.  He mentioned that all we
needed (as the blind motor is already in place) is for the monitor to
'speak' to the scanner in the same way that the fob presently does.  What am
I misunderstanding here please?
