Good Afternoon All,
The pressure cleaning was an option but not recommended to the EC.
Cleaning both sides of the balustrade glass is in the best interest of
the Owners Corporation. Although cleaning of one side keeps the grime at
bay, if the oppsoite side of the glass isnt cleaned then the apperence
will still be grimey.
Your decsion.

Hi Diana,
I dont think we are considering having the balcony's steam cleaned.
There is a mention in the quote for high pressure cleaning of the edges
but to my knowledge nobody has suggested we go ahead with that. Cleaning
inaccessible glass of which the outside of the balcony's is. Is usualy
standard in most apartments over 1 story. I think doing the inside just
lets you know that the jobs complete. It's hard to tell a piece of
glass is clean if your only doing one side. I think the high pressure
cleaning was sjust added to the quote as a way of the contractors trying
to do the up sell.
Im sure George can confirm. In any case the quote George has recommended
does not included the high pressure cleaning.
To the matter of cleaning inaccessible glass the question is should we
accept the quote as recommend by George.
To the matter of carpet I believe after Rob and Dave's votes that matter
has been passed in the affirmative.
Matt.

Hi George,
I think we should go with the Kalimna quote by either Raine or
the other, not the cheaper carpet. How can we be quibbling over $3-400
when we are considering paying to have all the balconies steam-cleaned?
This should be the responsibility of the tenant/owners and in any case
could blast the grout out from the joints and otherwise damage the
surfaces. I don't think that's a good idea at all. I also don't see how
the inside of the balustrades is the responsibility of the company.
Decent carpet in the lifts on the other hand, is.
Regards,
Di
