Thanks for the heads-up Matt!

Regarding the carpet, it's not so much wear and tear that the lift carpets
suffer from, but staining, so industrial quality carpet would still suffer
from that. I thought a hard surface which could be washed would be a far
better idea. Some form of washable tiles or lino of the quality you get in
hospitals...

sorry to come in late on this but I find these messages hard to unravel,
